Frequently asked questions
The questions people usually want answered before they call.
Can you take over an Intune setup someone else started?
Yes, and it is common. The read-only assessment shows which devices are enrolled, which policies are assigned, where they conflict, and whether compliance and Conditional Access are actually enforced. We keep what is sound and rebuild the rest in stages, piloting each change before it reaches everyone.
We have an internal IT person. Can you share the work with them?
No. We don't split a tenant with anyone. When two parties share the admin work, it becomes unclear who owns a policy or an alert, and both threats and improvements wait while that gets sorted out. We take full ownership of the Microsoft 365 tenant and the devices in it so we can act quickly. If someone looks after IT for you today, talk to us about how the handover would work.
Do you only work with businesses in Melbourne?
Melbourne is home and where we do onsite work, including the CBD, South Melbourne, Port Melbourne, Richmond, Cremorne and the inner east. Because Microsoft 365 management is cloud-native, we also run tenants for businesses in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and regional Victoria.
What size businesses do you support?
Most of our clients sit between 10 and 150 staff. That is the range where a properly configured Microsoft 365 environment removes the need for on-premises servers entirely, and where security misconfiguration does the most damage if left unattended.
Do you make money on Microsoft licences?
No. Licences are passed through at the price we pay through our Microsoft CSP distributor. You see the same rate we do. Our income is the service fee, so we have no reason to recommend a licence you do not need.
Can you take over from our current IT provider?
Yes, and it is most of what we do. We start with a read-only assessment of your tenant, devices and identity configuration, then plan a handover that does not need your current provider's cooperation to succeed.
Are we locked into a contract?
No. The agreement is month to month and six pages in plain English. If we stop being useful, you give us a month's notice and we hand over every credential, document and configuration record we hold.
How quickly do you respond when something breaks?
It depends on how many people are affected. If a whole team cannot work, we respond within 15 minutes. If one person cannot work, we respond within 30 minutes. Anything less urgent gets a response the same business day. Security alerts are handled separately: our 24/7 cybersecurity remediation SOC triages them around the clock, including weekends.
Still have a question?
Send it through the enquiry form. A named engineer usually responds the same day.
